Abby was a graduate assistant assigned to Tim Hartshorne, 2001-2002. During that year, she learned how to develop web-based surveys and use Microsoft Access. She conducted the study (see below), helped to analyze the data, and assisted with the literature review.
Abby graduated from the specialist program in school psychology in 2005. Today, Abby is the Planner/Monitor for Lapeer County Independent School District (ISD) in Michigan. She monitors special education programs int he 5 local districts as well as the ISD and Public School Academies (Charter Schools). She also puervises the hearing impaired program, facilitates the Early Intervention Team (0-5), investigates all complains, coordinates Assistive Technology, acts as the behavior consultant for the county and does all of the Positive Behavioral Supports training county-wide.
