These links were originally compiled for the use of
future history teachers here at Central Michigan University, particularly those
enrolled in "HST 400, Teaching History in the Secondary
Schools." I have recently updated them for use by participants in the
"Teaching American History" project at the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona ISD.
I hope other browsersby will find the site useful as well.
Web-based materials for enhancing history instruction are multiplying
exponentially, and this site contains only a smattering of the links currently
available. I update the links periodically, while attempting to categorize
them by field and period for greatest ease of use. Please let me know if you
find this site useful, and do not hesitate to make suggestions. You can contact
