Stephen H. Wagner

 

 

 

Stephen Wagner received his Ph.D in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Northern Illinois University.  He joined the faculty of Central Michigan University in 1999.  His teaching and research interests span both organizational and industrial psychology and include work attitudes, group dynamics in organizations, performance management, and research methods in I/O Psychology.

 Leadership Central is a website created by graduate students in my practicum class on organizational psychology. It contains many useful tools for leader development, including: a competency model for leadership, an online self-assessment tool, an online development plan builder, and resources for leader development, such as book reviews, movie reviews, inspirational quotes, and links to websites for developing leadership skills.

SIOP’s website has many useful resources, such as descriptions of all graduate programs in I/O psychology, job postings for I/O psychology, and back issues of TIP – SIOP’s quarterly publication.
