Volunteer Opportunities
Over the years, the Central Michigan University Chapter of Psi Chi has been
involved in many volunterring activities. Members often volunteer at the
Isabella County Soup Kitchen. Other past activities have included
participation in Make A Difference Day, Relay for Life, canned food drives for
the Red Cross, Commission on Aging leaf ranking, Adopt a Family, and cancer
walk-a-thons.
In addition to community service, the CMU Psi Chi
Chapter is also heavily involved with service to the university. Psi Chi
Members have assisted the Psychology Department over the years by assisting with
Psychology Advising Night, providing a free practice GRE to all students, and
co-sponsoring the Senior Award Lunch.

Volunteering
Volunteering is a
passion of the CMU Chapter of Psi Chi. Are you
looking for a place to volunteer? If so, here is a
list of local opportunities:
Isabella County Soup
Kitchen
The Isabella County
Soup Kitchen provides free meals and services to those
in need. Volunteering activities include preparing
and serving meals, as well as helping to clean the
kitchen after closing. There are tons of great
people involved at the ICSK, and volunteering here is
always a fun and rewarding experience.
To volunteer at the
Isabella County Soup Kitchen, contact Kathleen Mumford
