Dr. Todd Estes, Organization of American Historians
Distinguished Lecturer, is an Associate Professor of History at
Oakland University. He is an expert in early U.S. political history
and political culture and the author of The Jay
Treaty Debate and the forthcoming Campaign
for the Constitution: Political Culture and the Ratification Contest.
This seminar is open to graduate students and faculty in history and political science. It is part of Central Michigan University's annual Constitution Day observance and is sponsored by the College of Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences, the Department of History, the Department of Political Science and the Organization of American Historians Distinguished Lectureship Program.
