About This Site...

This website was developed by upper-level graduate students studying Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Central Michigan University. The students, led by Dr. Stephen Wagner, developed a "competency model" of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors that leaders need to perform effectively.

Based on this information, an online assessment tool was developed. This allows individuals to rate their level of competency on a number of leadership dimensions that have proven to be vital to the performance of leaders.

Based on the feedback provided by the assessment tool,  users can identify opportunities for improvement, and can target these areas using our self-development guide.
