Stephen P. Scherer
Stephen P. Scherer received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 1969. He joined the faculty at CMU the same year. Among other international appointments he has taught at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. His primary teaching fields include modern Europe, Russia, and historiography.
