William S. Pretzer
William Pretzer received his Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1986. He joined the faculty at CMU in Fall 2006 on a dual appointment in History and as Director of the Museum of Cultural and Natural History and the Museum Studies Program. Previously, he served as Curator at the Henry Ford Museum.

Research Interests
Professor Pretzer’s research interests lie in labor history and the history of technology.
