"Gary Peters teaches a seminar on state government Monday nights at Central Michigan University, but this Monday night he couldn't ignore a speech important to the federal government. Peters opened his class by delving into what President George W. Bush's last State of the Union address meant to his students. While some wondered what would be said about the economy or the war in Iraq, others asked how relevant the speech would be. Many of the students are focused on ongoing primary battles across the country."
