What's fair game in politics?

Political Civility
The topic is civility in government. The participants will be almost 20 political and civic leaders from around the state of Michigan. The inaugural Griffin Policy Forum, Michigan Leaders Roundtable on Political Civility, is planned for April 12th in the Plachta Auditorium in Warriner Hall. The roundtable is the first in the annual Griffin Policy Forum series established as one of the primary functions of the Robert and Marjorie Griffin Endowed Chair in American Government. Craig Ruff, the first holder of the chair, says of the event, This event features leaders in politics, media and civic life coming to grips with political civility. Not everyone feels that civility is a lofty goal in respect to attributes, roles and responsibilities. How it is defined is all over the map. This will be an entertaining and thought-provoking discussion.
