Field Activity

Moche Valley, North Coast:

  • 1972-1973.  Chan Chan - Moche Valley Project. Survey and excavation in a north coastal valley, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, National Geographic Society, and Peabody Museum.  Directors: Michael E. Moseley and Carol J. Mackey.  Position:  field assistant and independent research.

Cañete Valley, Central Coast:

  • 1984.  Archaeological Investigations in the Cañete Valley, Peru, supported by the National Science Foundation.  Plane-table mapping of a complex site on the Peruvian central coast.  Directors:  Joyce Marcus and María Rostworowski de Diez Canseco.  Position:  Surveyor and cartographer.
