Field Activity

  • 1998.  Archaeological Reconnaissance in the Altamachi Valley, Ayopaya Province, Cochabamba, in collaboration with David Pereira, Director of the Museo Arqueológico y Instituto de Investigaciones Antropológicas, Universidad Mayor de San Simón.
  • 1995.  Follow-up reconnaissance for new project development in the eastern Andes of the Department of Cochabamba, in collaboration with David Pereira, Director of the Museo Arqueológico y Instituto de Investigaciones Antropológicas, Universidad Mayor de San Simón.
  • 1993.  Changing Patterns of Settlement and Subsistence in the Bolivian Yungas. Preliminary project planning in Cochabamba and La Paz, funded by Faculty Research and Creative Endeavors, Central Michigan University. Position: principal investigator.
