  • This weekend is also the 37th Annual Midwest Conference on Andean and Amazonian Archaeology and Ethnohistory, held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Go to the conference website for presentation titles and abstracts to find out "what's hot and what's not" these days in South American research, or better yet, go watch; it's free!
