Open Field Test

Spontaneous nocturnal behavior will be assessed for 12-hour periods (2000-0800) prior to all testing starts and on the night following the retention in the RAWM.

Procedure

1. Place animals to be tested individually into open field test boxes

2. Start the computer program to measure activity from 2000-0800

3. Turn on white noise and close all doors to the testing room.
