Grip Test

Purpose

Ø This task is used to test the animals grip strength

Procedure

Ø Grip strength will be measured by recording the length of time the rat will be able to hold onto a steel wire (2 mm in circumference; 35 cm in length). The wire will be suspended 50 cm above the ground. Measures of grip strength will be taken prior to 1^st day of RAWM testing and 1 week after surgery.
