Gait Test

Purpose

Ø To examine the animal’s ability to walk

Procedure

1. Cut a sheet of white paper large enough to cover the floor area of the wooden tunnel - Place the tunnel onto the paper

2. Press the animals paws onto the ink pad

3. Turn on the white noise and orient the noise towards the tunnel entrance

4. Release the animal at one end of the tunnel and retrieve at the other end
