Congratulations to Dr. Deb Poole earning the Department of Psychology’s fall 2004 Faculty Appreciation award for undergraduate mentoring. Deb has had fellow status in the Association for Psychological Science since 1998 (a designation given to psychology professors who have made “sustained outstanding contributions to the science of psychology”). We are honored to have you as our psychology professor. Thank you for supporting CMU APSSC this semester.
Also, we are proud to announce that Dr. Poole's daughter, Lindsay Nelson (a psychology student at the U of M), had an article published in the Observer in November 2004 titled "Early Internships Help Undergraduates Get Their Foot in the Door." Check the article out!

Have the opportunity to interact with psychology professors in the casual setting of our monthly socials. Be a part of a fun, motivated group of psychology students who are dedicated to helping you learn. Graduates: Present research at our socials, allowing you to become more comfortable with presenting. Get to know undergrads- an opportunity to get great research assistants. Professors: Get to know students on a more personal level at our socials. Keep up on the latest research being done at CMU. Gain motivated research assistants. Questions? Comments? Email us at apssccmu@gmail.com
