Anyone who possesses an interest in
women’s studies, gender studies, and the issues that arise from
them.
*Can only women be
majors or minors?
No. Any interested student of any
gender may join the program.
*What are the program requirements?

*Can I combine Women's Studies with another
program?
Yes! One requirement of the program is that students must select a second major
outside of Women's Studies. These additional majors can be
selected from any program offered at Central Michigan University.
Women's Studies minors need only select one major outside of the
program.

Studies Advisor?
The Director of Women's Studies, Dr. Tara
Saathoff-Wells, also serves as program advisor. The program

A: Women in America serves as the introductory course, beyond that,
any courses that you find interesting and would like to explore.

A: The program offers a wide variety of courses to choose from,
including sexuality, history, religion, philosophy, psychology,
health, and art.
