Tara Saathoff-Wells,
Ph.D. in Organizational Culture and Family Development, The
University of Alabama
Research Interests: Dr. Saathoff-Wells studies
families and children engaged in the international relocation
cycle. Her research and applied interests focus on dimensions of
well-being, identity development, and family development
decisions in multiple cultures. One area of research is in the
work/family interface for dual career expatriate couples.
Current work in progress includes theory development and applied
research with dual career couples and immigrant family life in
the US.
Teaching Background: Dr. Saathoff-Wells' teaching
background includes infant development, research methods, family
development in adulthood, international service learning, and
cultural variations in family life. As current Director of the
Women’s Studies Program, she teaches the Capstone Seminar in
Women’s Studies every spring.

Edward W. Clayton |
Edward W.
Clayton, Ph.D. in Political
Science, The University of Michigan
Research Interests: Dr.
Clayton’s current research interests include the investigation of
whether a political philosophy can be found within Aesop’s Fables
and the exploration of possible connections between Alasdair
MacIntyre’s political philosophy and feminist philosophy, especially
the philosophy of caring as a practice.
Teaching Interests: Dr.
Clayton currently teaches the introductory courses in American
government and political philosophy, a course on twentieth and
twenty-first century ideology, and the graduate seminar in political
theory. In even-numbered years, he teaches the course in Feminist
Theory in the fall semester. |

Jan Doolittle

Jan Wilson, Ph.D. in
U.S. Women's History, The State University of New York at Binghamton
Research Interests:
Teaching Interests:
Courses Dr. Wilson has taught at CMU thus far include: Women
in America; Seminar in Twentieth Century U.S. Women's History; and
Gender, Race, and Class in America: 1877-1920. She has
designed an introductory women's studies course, and will begin
teaching it this Fall. |

Melinda Kreth |
Melinda Kreth,
Ph.D., The University of Louisville.
Research Interests:
Dr. Kreth's myriad research interests include Feminist Theory
& Discourse; Business, Technical, and Scientific Communication;
Ethical Issues in Professional Communication; Experiential Learning;
Feminist Theory & Discourse
Rhetoric of Inquiry; Rhetoric of Science and Technology; Writing
Across the Curriculum; and Writing in the Disciplines.
Teaching Interests:
Courses Dr. Kreth has previously taught include Business
Writing, Composition & Rhetoric, Empirical Research Methods, Science
Fiction and Fantasy. During odd-numbered years she teaches a
special section on Women Writers, and this past Spring semester the
course was tailored to women science fiction writers. |
