Scholarships

The Edward E. McKenna Scholarship
Established in 1998 in memory of this dedicated teacher, scholar, and unionist
by the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work.  This 
scholarship provides an award of approximately $500 to sociology majors
at the junior, senior, or graduate level, who have demonstrated exemplary
achievements in sociological research methods.

 

The Bernard N. Meltzer Scholarship
Established by friends in honor of Bernard N. Meltzer, former faculty
member and chairperson of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology,
and Social Work.  This is a biannual competitive scholarship providing a
$500 stipend to a graduate student in the department.
