This tutorial is required to become a Psychology major at CMU. Along the way, you'll find some forms, surveys, and quizzes--these are required parts of admission to the program. Don't worry, the process should be mostly painless and should give you lots of useful information about the major at CMU, opportunities for students, and some career information. NOTE: This tutorial does not substitute for meeting with your advisor but should prepare you and your advisor to make better use of your time together.
Steps to becoming a psychology major:
Complete this tutorial.
Accurately complete the quiz about the major at the end of the tutorial.
You will then be prompted to complete and submit the Why I Want to be a Psychology Major form.
After completing the tutorial, you should contact the Psychology Department secretary to make an appointment to meet with a faculty advisor to sign your major. Contact information is provided at the end of the tutorial.
