Experimental Psychology Applicant Data
As shown in the table below, the Experimental Program has increased both the number and quality of the graduate students this year. The average number of students enrolled for the M.S. in Experimental Psychology and the Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology programs during the last five years were 6 and 3, respectively. This year, 8 new master’s and 4 new doctoral students have been admitted, an increase of approximately 30% for both M.S. and Ph.D. programs over the past 5 years. The mean GPA and GRE (Verbal + Quantitative) scores for the students who enrolled during this period were 3.6 (GPA) and 1140 (GRE) for M.S. program, and 3.8 (GPA) and 1190 (GRE) for Ph.D. program, 6%, 12%, 12%, and 8% higher than the past 5 years, respectively.
