David Jesuit, political science, was awarded the 2005 Aldi J. Hagenaars Luxembourg Income Study Memorial Award, granted to the writer, under age 40, of the best LIS Working Paper from the previous year. He won the award for his LIS Working Paper, "State Redistribution in Comparative Perspective: A Cross-National Analysis of the Developed Countries" (with Vincent Mahler).
