Alper Dede, ABD

|
Alper Y. Dede teaches at
the Department of Political Science as a temporary instructor this
fall and spring. After completing his B.A. and M.A. degrees in Turkey,
Alper started his doctoral education at Western Michigan University,
Kalamazoo. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at WMU. Alper’s area of
specialization is Comparative Politics and Middle Eastern Politics.
His research interests include Islam and politics, political Islam,
civil society and nationalism in the Middle East. His dissertation
compares political Islamist movements in Egypt and Turkey. He taught
various courses at WMU and IUSB. |
