Jennifer Lucas began as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Fall 2005. As do all GAs, Jennifer teaches two sections of ENG 101: Freshman Composition. |

During their first semester of teaching, GA's teach classes with reduced enrollments (16 instead of 26 per class). |

Despite teaching on MWF, 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., Jennifer is full of energy and enthusiasm! (Not all GAs teach at this time.) |

Peer revision workshops are integral to ENG 101, and GAs learn to help students give constructive feedback on their classmates' papers. |

GAs are encouraged to supplement their teaching with classroom technologies. They can even learn to teach in a computer lab. |
